Legacy- 2016 Deer Season

Well the afternoon sit ended with a couple of deer emerging from the corn making a ruckus. They began to spar on the field edge but i was unable to tell how big they were. The leaves were too thick to make out antlers. Once there was a pause in the action I gave a couple of contact grunts and they made their way to me in the woods like they were on a string. A 1.5 year old 6pt and 2.5 year old 7 pt. They both took a turn checking out my mock scrape. First the 6pt, then the 7pt, and then the 6pt again. A little bit of action to keep me from boredom I guess.

That is awesome legacy. Great time of year to hunt.

Doe and a small buck this morning. Warm weather pattern's still holding. Near freezing Monday night should get them going.

Just got settled in to a green plot. Clover and chicory all in bow range with turnips on the outside ! Should have some action!

I drive a hour to get to my hunting land. I climb into my stand just to have the dick head neighbor start shooting his shotgun nonstop for the last half hour. WTF!?!!!

Witnessed a group does with fawns get chased off the field tonight by a persistent little six point.
