Thanks like I said I've just been holding back,I'll start hitting it hard as we get into the 20's of Oct the dates not temps

My feelings too. Although the cold snaps have the younger bucks moving, IMO they are just breaking their bachelor groups and unless you have a big guy pinned down, chances of seeing one in daylight are slim. DVD, did u see the monster my buddy got a week ago? I know u like to hold off for the bigger bucks

Finally got a camera out at my normal spot last week. All pics between 7 and 10am except this one. I'd like to get a better pic but I think he's a shooter and I'm fairly certain this is the 2.5 year old 8 I passed up 15 times last season. post-149334-14764766952198_thumb.jpg

Spotted Does and fawns in a couple of different green fields on the drive to my afternoon spot. 400ish. Good sign. Had to audible on my way into the stand though. Forecast says southeast and it definitely northeast. Either way I have two stands on the property and they are set for opposite winds. One for northerly and one for southerly. All settled in now!

Def a shooter pelt! I would bet he's over 3.5 by the size of his body and head at this stage of the game

I was thinking the same thing after looking at it a little more seems to have a pretty hefty face for 3.5.

Lol. Green is for out to 25 and orange is for 35. The yellow is just slid own out of the way.
