Reflectors are a good idea. I buy those Lindy Bobber Brite sticks and strap them to the flags.

Gives good visibility, you just need new ones every night out.

We steal our kids glow Sticks and slide them in the slitts in the flag. Green is the easiest to see.

I also put reflective tape on the back side to allow other boats to see them. 😉
