I had only caught one Salmon in Lake Ontario in a boat until I read all of your info here on how to catch 'em. Today, I finally set myself up with Dipsey and wire. Wow! It was finally fun out there. Thx for the info on rod, reel, wire, backing, twilli, knots, swivels, fluorocarbon, depth info and flasher/fly. It all came together like a dream. Sure was funny though when I hit bottom the first time with the Dipsey out. Found out when loading boat up to go home that it was on a #1 setting instead of a #2. All of you guy's should get free equipment or something 'cause your info is priceless and my tackle shop sure does love ya now...lol.
