marine t.v antenna

looking for info. from guys who have had experience with marine t.v antenna brands and installations.which brand,design,and any mounting recommendations would be greatly appreciated.looking to install on a wellcraft coastal with a hard top.

HDTV requires a special antenna for good reception. The old models are not as good and an amplifier helps a lot. 12 volt amplifiers might be what you need. Automatic signal direction controls help.

There are 12 volt/110 volt 60 cycle devices to convert the power for your TV and antenna you could use when shore power is not available and battery capacity is available.

My dock neighbors all have the Shakespeare brand. Seem to watch TV all the time. I hae it set up in my noat, bus missing the reciever..
