What type of connectors and how long a rod Mike?

Connectors were two air compressor fittings. Length was adjustable I can measure the gap. I just got my main motor rebuild. Trying to get a couple trips in before it gets cold out

if it is an EZ steer arm you can go to their web site . wallmart web site is cheapest i have seen it. they sell tether kits for the rod also. after reading 3 or 4 post guys losing their ez steer arms  i made my own tethers for my steer arm .

Looks like an ez steer arm. Wish I could just figure out where my girlfriend put mine... $140 for a new one and the gotta wait for it to ship... Sucks.

If you are offered one here, make sure it is with the 2 little spring loaded bar holders. Not the older one spring loaded  bar holder. I have the older type and it does not work very well in adjusting after raising or lowering the engine.

Thanks for the info. I think mine was an older one. Just wish I could remember where I put mine... Trying to get out an hour or two before work, and a hour or two before dark... Spent all summer rebuilding the main motor... At least next year I'll be ready...

I have two new outer tube ball joint may be you can used a pice of copper pipe for the arm. I will be in the Mexico area Thursday night. P.m. if your instated.

troll on the i/o use 5 gal buckets to slow you down till you get an arm set back up / put some holes in bottom of bucket so water can pass threw the buckets tie on side of boat up by front of boat so they stay out of way while fishing ... more than 1 way to skin a cat lol
