seen a few of em on th south end never hooked one. Every time the seam to just sit there, confuse em for a stick pretty easy. Right at the surface, poke at em a little bit and off they go.

I caught one drifting in front of Russell casting a daredevil... Fought like hell... funny thing was that it wasn't even on the treble hook. It had bit onto the line about 6" before the lure and wound its mouth shut with the line! It was pretty decent size @ 32"! They are pretty crazy looking.

My son caught one last year & I had the head mounted. They are very hard to catch because of their boney beak. They are a living fossil and pretty cool looking..

yes, get a Camera!! We have a digital that we keep on the boat just so we never forget it. never know when you'll catch a whopper and that would suck if you couldn't snap a few with you grinnin' beside it.

I-bay even has an occasional muskie and yes I would absolutely throw back my fish-of-a-lifetime if its a muskie 8) .
