There are the 7 and 8 foot Shimano Talora rods. These are great for wire-line dipsy diver rods. But for some the price might be a bit hard to swallow. ($130 a piece)

I have been using 7 1/2 foot  muskie rods from Bass Pro with twilli tips. Just finished their 5th season, $25 a piece.

Take a look at the Okuma Blue Diamond rods. We run that for our wire and it works great. For half the price of a Talora, you can't beat it.

We also run the Okuma Classic Pro GLT for our copper and leadcore rods. We've never had a problem with any of them. I'm actually in the process of switching over our few remaining leadcore rods to these.

This past season I switched to the okuma 10ft med action cold water rods, awesome action, I would say they definitely increase our landing ratio do to the light action vs the heavy ugly stick we have used the past several years
