night bite

My brother and I are heading up to Olcott and Oak Orchard this weekend and would like to know if there is a King night bite yet or are we wasting our time.

we will be trolling during daylight hours, but do now want to be limited on our opportunities.

I just cancelled my weekend trip to olcott. Lake has small craft and was blowing 25 out of the North east earlier this morning . My buddy trolled yesterday hooked one lost it then west casting till 230 am no fish. Lake gonna be ripping till late Saturday but I'm sure it's gonna be rolling big time even after wind comes down. Sunday was looking good but still NE and stiff. Weekend for lake fishing a bust imo.

we had three guys on the pier last night, not a hit, but a few guys picked a few on Tuesday and last saturday. A north wind pushes in some colder water which should help. It was 71* last night
