Wanted Surf Casting Combo

Looking for a decent Surf casting combo at a reasonable price. Can pick up Binghamton, Ithaca or Elmira area. Heading to Outer Banks and need to fish. LOL.

Good luck finding one haha. I recommend going on Amazon and ordering a 12 ft Penn Prevail and a Penn squall size 15. This time of the year the drum should be in. Could get both fir under 200

Lots of shops down there with the right stuff. If your going to Hatteras Island and down to the Hatteras inlet. Stop into Teaches Lair. They can fix you up with whatever you want. Talk to "Jam"..good guys and good info on the beach fishing.

Depends on what you want to toss in the surf. Bait or metals?

Wish I could go down this year, but other things transcend my fishing trip.

I gotta cheapie Shakespeare setup when I was in Cape May last. It was like 70 bucks. Perfect for how often I surf cast. Good luck and have fun!!

You can get an ugly stick rod for $30 of tackle direct. I've caught bug fish on mine... like I said though. Right now is the drum bite and you want to launch baits
