I have a bunch of spoons that are realy tarnished, or dull. They are ether crome or silver. Most are sutton or flutter spoons I would realy not like to replace them. Can anyone help????? :(

I've cleaned old spoons with "Brasso", then washed with dish soap, rinsed, then dried and sprayed with WD40.

If we have really rusty traps, we soak them in white vinegar. This returns them to like new. I don't know if it will harm plating or paint finishes though. On the traps it eats all the rust and old dye and wax.

tooth paste will polish them up too. if they are painted it will hurt the paint since you are polishing. Suttons and the like should be fine.

Soak them in Coke (the soda) overnight. In the morning rub clean....looks like new.

Yeah, the other coke would be cost prohibitive.....but might juice up the lures........can you imagine a Steelhead on coke?
