2016 duck season

just had a10 min long flock of snows go over my house, never seen that many in my neck of the burbs before. a mile high and probably stretched from here to canada. not good

Canada and up north is still frozen from what I have heard. That will keep birds on the south Shore for a bit.

Lay all day in a muddy field with hundreds of all types of decoys out. Thousands flew over high but few even gave us a look. Tough birds to fool.

Yup same here spent the weekend with a guide had one good opportunity to kill two birds and my son and father shot and could not nock them down. Spent the rest of the time watching thousands of birds fly over and would not even give us a look.

I did get a good picture at 20 yards of this snow owl. That made the weekend somewhat awesome. First time I had ever seen one.
