Launched at the south end this morning and we were surprised to see the 55 degree temp down at 110' and most of all the fleas were back like it was July. Has anyone else seen this in October? We boated just undersized LLs which were quite thin! It got a bit rough so we bailed at noon!

Comments about October fleas??

Was on Seneca one evening last week.  Was also surprised to find fleas (a pain but manageable).  Surface temp. at 65, no down temp.

I was out saturday morning also. Fleas seemed thicker in spots, but were manegable. Weird to me to see them this late. I've spent most of my time on Ontario the last several years and they always seem to disapear around august. Did get 5 keeper landlocks, 5 or so throwback LL and 2 small lakers. Had several hits and misses, lost a big rainbow that hooked himself in the eye, that made it to the boat as he tail danced behind us. All between Meyers and AES.
