My son and I found a few this beautiful evening. He wanted to get a walleye and finally got his first. Nice to know the spots I used to fish (or close to the old spots) still hold some fish. Definitely a day I will remember for a long time. The look of surprise on his face when he saw he hooked his first eye!

Congrats to your sons first eye, problem is it's very addictive!! Last week I spent a lot of time up at my buddies camp on the Oswegatchie River, and talked to a lot of locals from Newton Falls area. I never thought about how blessed you folks are with all the waters there are in your state. Your north country is absolutely amazing. I did a lot of sledding years back, but never really took the time to honestly step back and look at the big picture. There's a hell of a lot more to NY than Lake'O. May many more eye's come to your sons creel!! PAP.
