Which way a dodger goes

I am setting up 8 rods right now for tommarow morning and I am going to try a couple dodgers I can't find a video to save my life telling me which direction a dodger goes if anyone could reply asap I would appreciate it

Dodger goes small end towards the boat or pole. Many dodgers like lure jenson will have a swivle on one end and a spire wire attached to the swivle on the other. The spiral wire goes toward the boat or pole. It's made.like that so you can tie a loop on your terminal end and thread it on to the dodger don't have to keep tying not sure for quick changes.of color.

Sorry I was back wards with the spiral wire or cork screw. That goes toward the flies or lure for quick changes. Just reverse what I said in previous post. Dodgers like pro trolls will have a small side and a big side. Big side toward lure small side to the pole. Sorry about the mix up.

With that said running the dodger in reverse will work if your speeds are higher. You will know if you got it right when you put it in the water. Dodgers shouldn't spin alot. More of a thumping dodge hence the name.

Alright thank you I appreciate it I rigged them all correct then with the lip being on the lure side and flat being on main line
