My buddy traps them during the fall and stores them all winter. He has a 50 gallon filtered tank. Its great bait too. Always seems much better than what we get at the bait store. More lively.

So what about if I were to buy them from an online supplier? Any idea how that would work?

They have to be certified VHS free.  Why not just buy minnows by the pound from Mitchells?

I think I paid 16.95 for a pound of fatheads Saturday.  It is way cheaper to buy them by the pound.

Does anybody know why those corridors are so magical?  You can only use them on the same body of water you collect them on anyways.  So why doesn't the entire state follow this?

That's not bad. I can get a pound for $10 online. For 6 bucks iy might be worth just buying therw

U can use them in the body of water in which they are caught..., no transporting involved.... Via automobile.

This particular gentleman has been trapping bait for many years.

There is a potential technical glitch involved with bulk storage of the minnows. The certification virus free receipt that is required signed and dated with the amount etc. is only good for 10 days.
