evening bite

I see most reports are for the early morning bite. Does anyone fish the evening or night? If so, what set ups?

Was thinking of coming up and doing an afternoon/evening outing and then an early morning at Fair Haven.

I'm relatively new at this and this forum is great....so much information! Thanks to all of you for sharing your vast knowledge.

The afternoon/evening bite out of Fair Haven can often be better than the morning bite. We generally find that the last hour of daylight is the go-to time for taking Kings. Just stick with what you know catches fish given the conditions of the day and you'll likely do well.

I second that the last couple of weeks we have been fishing late afternoon until just before dark and have had better luck. Fished Saturday in the morning and it was slow.
