Its definitely fall transition and I am fishing later in the year than ever before. I'm targeting bass pike and walleye. If you have a recent report or your experience this time of year on conesus, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much !

I caught some nice pike there two weeks ago. I was told yesterday the docks were out and water low. Guy said he used waders to launch.

Just curious if you caught yours shallow, less than 15 ft ?

Wow ! That's surprising. Guess the baitfish are still shallow. Think on Monday I'm going to try for smallies. If I can't find them in a couple hrs I will target pike & lrg mouths. They should be midway on the lake points I believe ? Thanks for the tips !

We have been doing well on pike last 3 weeks. Averaging 5 fish or so a trip. All 25" to 33". Have been throwing a Fluke on a 1/2oz jig head for smallies but the pike won't leave it alone. Spinnerbaits also taking fish.

Bosun, thanx much. I like throwing swimbaits too ! Yeah the pike eat anything swimming. I like to throw some lures without a leader but don't want to get bit off either. Hate that ! I may fish deeper just because of that reason.

Been getting pike not quantity, but nice sized ~ 36, 34, 33, 32, 30, 29 in recent outing. Nice fish 7 to 12 pounds. Definatly not shallow ~ 14 to 18 FOW. I use Seaguar Fluorocarbon homemade leaders. 16", 60 pound test "double-uni at one end a clinch knot at the other end" never a bite off and they don't my effect finesse baits like my 1/2 oz. Jerkbaits.
