I used them for many years and they worked fine. Bought mine used when I first started Salmon fishing on Lake Michigan back in '96. I caught many big Salmon with them and only switched to Taloras a couple years ago because I wanted shorter rods on my small boat.

I used them for years with twilly tips. Never a problem. The only thing that made me change them out  was the length(10 feet) I now use 8 foot Taloras

I have used them from day one and still have them, both wire and braid. My buddy went with me one day and handled them and says he like them better than the ones he runs.

Ive used them for 8 years now with Twilly tips. They are a lighter action than most other diver rods. They are a bit awkward to get used to at first. The way they bend is almost like a noodle rod. I've caught a lot of fish on them and still haven't seen the need to change them out for anything else.
