spin and glows question.

I fished lake ontario last weekend and one of the rigs used was a set of cowbells and a spin and glow w/ no wings on it. I called them peanut rigs from years ago. Does anybody know what I am talking about and if so where can i find them? I have a couple that were hand tied, I purchased them at a bait shop inbetween Candor and Danby. be he has been closed for years. My only reason for inquiring is we caught some large lake trout on them and i would like to attempt them on cayuga. Any help is appreciated.
