Mono to leadcore

I'm trying the new ultra thin micro lead and realizing that it is too thin to use a Willis knot to join it to the mono. The mono won't go into the sheath. Anyone have a suggestion for a good smooth knot?

I pull about 6" of lead out and then tie a uni to uni knot with the mono and the sheath. It's worked fine for two years. Small enough so it doesn't hang up and no break offs yet.

I watched the video and it appears that it would work well.  I have used tufline micro lead for two years and also use back to back uni knots to connect the backing and leader. Like chowdaire said strip off about 5 or 6 inches of lead from the sheath and tie the knots.  It is compact and flows the guides without issue.
