January first nonresident hunting license fees double. You can buy next year's license Moose, caribou, and bear tags at 2016 price before January 1st. I'm going back again for Moose figured I'd pass info on. Sean

A buddy did a DIY hunt last year, dropped off a left to fend for themselves! Both killed moose and one was a record book type! Absolutely huge, very jealous!

Hey Sean how much did you spend on an Alaska diy hunt if you don't mind me asking ?

Cost me about 2200 including airfare and licenses. Have a buddy up there which helped out a lot.

Cost me probably closer to 6k but that's all air. Including camp rental and the bush flights out of bethel 100 plus miles into back country. These guys put you right ontop of them also includes raft and motor. Dam better than 18k for an Outfitter.
