Chautauqua lake report

Don't know if anyone heads south to hit the ice but I was out of long point yesterday one 6 inches of ice. Got over 100 perch and one short walleye. Dragging the sled was pretty easy and one guy even drove his quad out there.

A few of them were 8 and 9 inchers, mostly small ones. Saw a 13 inch one pulled out and a few nice crappie as well.

Got 2 short eyes yesterday and one big perch. Got the eyes in 32 FOW.

Caught 6 short walleye and a few good perch yesterday, all out of my first hole in my hut in 36 fow, which is unbelievable lol.

What's the ice like want to come up but have 2 1/2 hr drive want to be sure its good

After today it will be getting worse, Monday is probably your last chance to get there since the temp is supposed to be in he upper 40s for the next two weeks. It was 4 thick inches Saturday.
