Daiwa Lexa lc300 reel for dipsey

Anyone use one of these reels? Rather new, thought it would make a nice lite dipsey setup with braid. This or the Tekota 300lc, which I have used and like. I know they are not cheap....

I was aware they came out with a LC version of this reel. Let me do some research and I will let you know what I find. But for the price I am seeing them for, the Saltist is as good!!!

Thanks Rich, I have several Tekota's and like them. Trying to use the lightest tackle possible. I am on Keuka, attempting to make even 3 lb'er fun to land.

Still waiting to get factory info on this reel. I have not been able to find anything on Daiwa's site, but looking at the Lexa 300 series baitcaster, you should be able to get 300 yards of braid on it with no problem. It should work just fine for your application on the finger lakes. As soon as I get factory info I will pass it on, I know Daiwa is slow to update their site some times. I would like to see one in person, would be a good early season low profile diver, flatline, or bt rigger reel!!

It looks like they finally have released this reel to the US. Here is link with the specs. I am not sure when they will be avail. I am going to try to get one to try out.
