I can 2nd rustylures recommendation........ December was a good month on I-Bay. But I know they pulled all the docks in late December and I haven't been by the launch recently to know what it looks like with respect to ice.........

But none of it looks like safe ice for walking on!  And it may disappear after today and tomorrow.  There have been boats launching periodically before the freeze up.

Are you fishing from a boat? If so Irondequoit Bay should be good. We pulled our pontoon in December and the fishing was great. 20 to 40 foot with fat head minnows on bottom.
From shore I cannot help you

I was just mentioning locked up because of the above comment. You can't use a boat right now is all.

No offense, but unfortunately there are some ice fishermen that will see" locked up" and figure it's game on, and even though I have heard of a couple of guys out on it, the bay is far from safe (if there is anything left after yesterday.)

I checked the DOT Camera on the Bay Bridge, but the lens is wet and you can't tell whether it opened up or not.
