Off brand rod holders,planer masts, tracks

Curious if anyone has had any issues with using muddy creek rod holders, Great Lakes planers, cheap eBay garage run guys compared to traxtech,cannon,Cisco companies....can't decide on spending the extra if they all are aluminum made

I have great lakes planers rod trees on my boat and they are nice.  I bought them because I can easily remove the tree from the base with just a few turns of the knob.  I have to remove the trees to get the boat in the garage.  I  have not had any issues at all with them.
