I had one and went back to an EZ Steer. Easier using the steering wheel in my opinion.

I personally hated it, I felt I was glued to the remote almost as bad as the wheel. One thing that made a big difference was no feedback steering for solo fishing best 80$ spent on a boat. I know people that love the electro steer units. I ended up going to an autopilot in the end, but i fish solo a lot. Can't always find someone with a 30min notice.

I love mine . I have a mechanically steering and the cost for Auto Pilot was crazy. I fish solo 90%of the time which would be impossible without it. Also great when I load up the kids and don't have a driver. Some windy days you'll be busy with the remote but still can't beat it for the cost
