Backup camera

Has anyone tried installing a car backup camera on there boat to watch your poles and other things going on in the back ?

Never seen a camera but I did see an old timer that used a larger mirror to watch his rods. It was a waterski type mirror. He had a bad neck and couldn't turn around that good and it worked well for him

Mirror is way cheaper, serves the same purpose, just isn't as cool looking.

I think the mirror is a great idea the two problems I have when I zip up my back door the clear plastic isn't so clear anymore and I fish with an dav who loves to drive and not miss anything that's happening

Better than 6 guys in the back of the boat all watching the rods and boat on auto

Adjustable mirror is the simplest (old school) way to go., The swivel arm units used for depth finders and GPS' with a suitable mirror attached and well positioned (suction cup mount can be helpful) can be a real help when fishing alone and in heavy traffic.
