Pretty cool to see that mud puppy, and yes there are walleyes in the river. Prof. T and Kevin aren't making the river eyes up to make themselves look like the great RIver Eye Guys LOL. Super video very interesting content in that peice of footage!!!   Just being funny no harm ment in any form!! Looking foreword to the posts from Prof. T and Kevin Legg this year. Maybe with the boundaries gone it will make fishing the river a little less stressful??!!!

Stillwater,

Company who are used to letting lines drag well behind the boat, right on the bottom, get frustrated pretty fast. Cabela's and Fed EX profit immensely as a result! Bonus points don't last long.

I used to run 17 LB monel wire on a baitcaster with bottom bouncers on trips to Nipissing in Canada.  Could feel every rock and never got hung up.  Might be a good application for that rock pile!

Anything you learned about eyes is a big plus!! What worked that day might or usually you can wash your hands of. Everyday is a new day, not so much in the area you found them, but what they want, how fast or slow they want it. You must have a ton of patients and be willing to change colors, lures to spoons. From 12# fluro to 8# fluro. Most important is staying off the bottom and quick rise in depth that your lines might encounter.  Best of luck to your river eye season this year!! A special 2  up for the river eye guys Kevin and professor T. Can't wait for the season opener to see the pics from the river guys!!
