I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ALL YOU FISHERMAN OUT THERE ON THE U.S. & CANANDIAN SIDE OF THE LAKE HAVE YOU FOUND A INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF ATLANTIC

SALMON BEING CAUGHT ALSO ARE YOU GETTING ANY NATURAL REPRODUCTION OF ATLANTICS ON THE U.S. OR CANANDIAN SIDE. I SEE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN STOCKING MANY ON THE CANANDIAN SIDE ALSO CAN YOU POST PICTURES OF THE ATLANTICS U HAVE CAUGHT

Nice they are a beautiful looking fish. Much nicer looking than a king, how do they fight?? Compared to a king of the same size?? PAP?

How much it weighs is part of the problem of "sport fishing". Money becomes involved and that is the root of our problem. Congratulations are granted, a non invasive specie is still present.

I started the season with a decent one from Oswego, and then landed two more out of fair haven over the season. The largest I would estimate would be around 13lbs

That's great to all that replied, but in comparison to size, size for size how to they fight??

I landed 3 last summer.  Their population seems be cyclical.  There are a couple years of decent numbers then a couple years of low numbers.

I get 1-2 per year. Represents about 1% of my catch...

Why did you state "The root of the problem" in that manner? Obviously, there's a delemia with this specie of fish. PAP.
