Was wondering if anybody is using this model or know someone that has one thinking about getting it

I have that unit on my smaller boat... I have not done a ton of deep water fishing with it - but shallow water it seems decent

It's a 500 watt same has a HDS. Processor is naturally slower and the GPS is also a little slower but overall it's a excellent unit and there is some nice sale on those units.

Thanks for the reply ,these units caught my eye they look simple and the price is good just don't want to make a mistake on buying them. I'm thinking I really don't need all the extra fancy stuff they come with now.Will be using it on lake ontario and lake erie

Just be sure you're running the latest update. Even if you just did purchase don't assume they are up to date.
