Thank you everyone...latest update is he will be in rehab facility until end of the month. Doctors said he should be cleared to be back on the water by mid June. Its killing him to not be out there but I am hoping hes good as new soon.

Dad is home ! In pain and not very mobile however is making good progress. He is ruled out to Not be able to fish the Seneca Memorial day derby for first time since '75 however sad to say. Been my partner for it every year since I was 7 in 1985. He may still be able to camp for the derby since he doesn't want to miss out on the atmosphere and seeing old friends. Next step is trying to be back on the water when the kings start heating up

Kev that is great to hear.  I know that the fierce competitor he is the derby means a lot but  the critical thing is that he gets better and gets to fish many more of them. I'm happy for ya bud I know how close you guys are.
