Just ordered a DR to replace a Cannon SNT that I'm TOTALLY Disgusted with. I'm having it delivered to my marina for installation but want to ready my cannon ball hook up so I have several questions:

1. Does the kit include all the hardware necessary to install the probe to the cable.

2. Does the kit include a drop cable to connect the ball or do I need to buy a piece of lighter cable to make my own.

I ordered a Walker clincher release per Billy V's method.

Does anyone have the manual available to fax to me?

You will be happy with the unit. Pretty much everything you need come;s with it. Installation is easy, but run a dedicated fused line from the battery to the unit. A lot of people make the mistake of running it or any other brand off an existing fuse block. That's where the problem's occur. Any problem's feel free to pm me or give Curt a call.

I just helped Rusty Rat install his new DR last night and yeah, all the stuff you need is in the box except for the Clincher and all the parts you need for that. L&M Is absolutely right...be sure to run it directly to the battery. Other electrical devices can interfere with the signal. You'll be happy with the unit.

You can repair the scraped up coating by using liquid electrical tape. It's not as good as the original but will definitely help.

Kell Labs emailed the manual to me so I have it electronically. If anyone would like it, pm me. Their website won't let you on without a username and password so it wasn't easy to get it from them.
