Hello i was out on sat and looked over to my display and it was blank.tried for about a half hr with no luck.when i opened the fuse cover i found two blown fuses.i replaced the fuses on monday after work and tried hooking the display up and nothing, could this be a fried display?I called the #and have not got a return call yet.Can anyone help me out with some info or maybe a fix or repair.there are no dashes or any sign of life :( any help would be nice.thanks

#1 Did you have it hooked up directly to the battery or to a fuse block under the dash.

#2 If not run a dedicated power line (fused) to the battery for the DR. And see what you have.

#3 The people at DR are great for support and I'm sure they will get back to you asap.

thanks for the fast reply.I hooked it up to a direct battery on the boat and one in the garage still blank.the fuse on the line is fine too

Two things, both of wich I know from experience.

1) the cable from the display unit has to be connecte to the cable from the rigger.

2) The sending unit (probe, what ever) has to be submerged. It turns off automatically when out of water.

Good luck
