Numerous. Bait balls and hooks all over and couldn't move a rod from cowbells and sound doctors and flies to paddles and flies spoon patterns and speed changes.a lot of lookers coming up to the down rigger but not takers

Frustrating when that happens.  With lakers sometimes all it takes is shortening up your leads to 5-10' or  go the opposite extreme and put them back 75'.  Been there.  Lady Ontario.......she teaches.  The challenge is what brings me back.

OR it could be the bait availability and they just were well fed and uninterested in feeding or working for it. Encouraging to see the bait and fish though.

Yea soon as we went back in to 70 fow 5 minutes took 11 lb laker but had same bait in there I adjusted leads. Out to 60 foot and. Had some short as 8' off ball. I trying about everything but oh well big learning curve

As Les said....it might be as simple as the fish are fed.  The TV I am watching right now is 8' from a refrigerator full of food.  I am not at the frig because I had dinner an hour ago and I am not hungry.  The water is still cool and fish are cold-blooded so fish can afford to eat and be lethargic.

Yea. Was frustrating but I also was think in back of my mind why would they eat look at all the bait
