Field Test 7/30

I couldn't get out on the boat tonite, so I decided to tape up a couple lures with a new pattern to try next time out.

Just for kicks, I took the NK28 version of my new pattern out to the pier to throw a few casts to see how it looked when I pulled it through the water.

Well, lo and behold, this 35+ inch Northern inhaled it, and put up a fight which included 3 long runs and two above surface head shakes.

The tape is bright green and copper flake. The eyes (front and back) are yellow prism. The NK28 spoon is silver with a gold cup.

Hope it works as well on the Kings and Steelies...
