Their website claims that you can reach more than 100' using the large ring. Can anyone confirm?
I tend to have my dipsys in that area and was thinking of picking up some slide diver to be a little more stealthy on occasion.
I'm planning to tie a length of mono onto my wire rod with 30# 7 strand. So the slide would be run up next to the wire and have the mono to slide on.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

I think you need the whole Ultimate Accessory Kit that comes with a large ring and 7oz weight and bottom plate to get that deep. I don't think the ring alone will get you there.

Thanks for the response. I found the ultimate kit and it says it'll dive to 110'. I'm gonna pull the trigger and get it set up and run my fishhawk TD down the wire and see.

I use 50# braid and it does not slide down at all. It just needs to be rigged properly. Can't put the rubber on the arm, it has to be at the bottom where the line passes through.

That's how mine were rigged...with the line through the rubber tubing. I was using 30# though. That could be the difference.

I also had problems with break offs if my diver bumped bottom. Not immediately, but on the next strike. I haven't had that problem with flouro.
