Tough bite today but i did well on steels and kings. Riggers 55-75' down with wonderbread, spook and hossman mags. Glow froggy 28 size on 10 color core - knot at water. Cutbait on the wires.

Best water for us was 220-320'. Speed 2.7-2.8 @ the ball.

anyone who is new to wire and is reading this LISTEN CLOSE......DO NOT TIGHTEN THE DRAG ON THE REEL WHEN A SALMON IS PEELING OUT LINE. if you realy need to do an adjustment do so when the fish stops running.

2 dipsey, 2 11" flashers, 2 twinkie rigs SAME GUY then a spin doctor fly off the rigger. Needless to say i was shaking my head. He learned after the 4th time i told him.

Steve, what type of cut bait are you using? Is it working well for you?

Good advice. Leave it loose enuff to here it ckicking out every now and then and when it stops runnin then do what you have to do with the drag with in reason.

fishtail -familar bite orange package. First day running it this year. took 3 fish today so i can't say it has been good.
