Lead core backing and leader length?

I have a couple okuma convector 45's I'd like to make a 10 color and a 5 color but I have no idea how much backing or leader I will need this is all new to me but I wanna try it

600' of backer should do ya.....mono or braid will work

I run 50' leaders on all my cores

As much will fit haha....  600 power pro and 50 ft leader sounds good to me

you have two reels so start with the 10 color backwards on one than you get as much backing on as you can than reel it off of that reel on to the other one so it will be the right way on.  

the 5 color will be more of a guess but you know if will hold the same amount the 10 color did plus some.
