I was wondering if there is any information on speed or wake restrictions due to elevated water levels throughout New York State. Don't want to be running in my boat if there are restrictions in place. I have heard certain areas have no wake or maximum speeds of 5 mph with 500 feet of shoreline. Anyone have any information before Saturday's walleye opener?

I have not heard about any speed restrictions. I was down at the cottage on long point Sunday putting the dock and waterline in. AlI can tell you is that there is a lot of debris out there so use extreme caution navigating Black River Bay, Guffins bay, Chaumont and 3 mile Bay's, Henderson as well. Good luck to everyone and if thinking about night fishing I would reconsider it. Be safe everyone.

Thanks plan on hitting some of those bays. I won't be in the water till Monday. I only fish during The daytime, but are equipped to fish at night, but like you mentioned that's an accident waiting to happen in my mind. What little there is:lol:
