Well all the swamp lovers are happy!  All the animals and fish that died off years ago will be coming back.

I got word yesterday that they closed the launch. Not good, especially seeing the projections from Plan 2014 that the lake is due to rise another 10 inches through June and not fall below 247' until September.

Anyone seen Pine Grove launch, by chance? If Mexico is this bad, I'm sure Pine Grove is under water by now.

As of last week you needed to wade through about 4-5" of water for about 10' to get to the floating dock section.  Otherwise it was fine.

I think you could still launch at Salmon Country Marina, just up the river. I was there over the weekend and it was clear and had boats at their docks.
