Irondequoit Bay High Water Advisory
Attention ALL Boaters:

Current water levels are much higher than the long-term average for this time of year and are expected to rise.

High water levels and wave action cause significant damage to the shoreline and adjacent properties.

PLEASE LOWER YOUR SPEEDS throughout the Bay and observe the no wake advisory within 500 feet of the shoreline.

The regulated 300-foot no wake zone will be strictly enforced.

REMEMBER every boat is responsible for its wake and any resulting damages.

If flooding worsens, state of emergency restrictions on speeds and/or wake zones may be enacted until conditions improve.

The kind and ethical thing would to go idle speed no wake, regardless of what the law is saying...
