Went for a short evening trip out of OZ. Went 4 for 5. 2 kings and 2 steelies & dropped another king right at the back of the boat. All salmon bites came on flies. There's fish out there, but they're scattered, both vertically and horizontally.

Are the kings generally deeper this time of year?

Generally I find them in a little shallower water, but they're usually pretty spread throughout the water column.
