Canandaigua 8/3/08 and 8/4/08

I had fireplug aboard Sunday morning and we did get a nice 8lb lake trout off the copper rig. I am still getting used to the copper but I think it was out 300'. Then a wire dipsy fired with another good one but weeds plagued us and slid down the wire to the dipsy and lost tension to the fish. There was plenty of tension to the dipsy though the weed blob was as big as a haybale. We had fun though.

Monday my wife and I and the dogs went out for a swim but after swimming I let out 2 wires and had a nice rainbow take the 8" protroll echip white crush glow with a glow squid out 165' on a 3 setting in the late afternoon
