SLR guys

I do some extensive walleye fishing on the SLR in late summer and while most people troll I prefer jigging. I recently started making my hairjigs for it and figured I would share with some of you guys. Can't wait to land an eye on my own jig

Those are some nice looking jigs.

How heavy are they? Seems like you would need a heavy jig for the river?

Nice! You are right I'm one of those trolling guys. I like to cover a lot of water especially if the bite is slow.

Thanks guys. Over the winter with more time I may make enough to sell some. Those weights vary from 1-2 oz. if the wind and current are working together some nights can be tough to jig

Nice jigs years ago fishing with my father we used the black ones with a black rubber worm and crushed the northerns in the islands . Just used a heavy mono leader.

I have recently taken the ideas from the big walleye jigs to perch and smaller walleye/bass hair jigs. Coming out well and really enjoying tying jigs
