Guide boats should not look a gift fish in the mouth ! 

The no fish = no pay or a free next time is saved by a few Lake Trout often.

 

You can always slow down and go to bottom and hook one or 2 LT

Problem with that is people do not pay to catch LT....getting repeat customers when they pay to catch salmon and you give them LT...they will not come back to you.

 

Just saying, if I pay for steak and you bring me chicken i'm not coming back....

Not true have a charter for tomorrow for lake trout do to salmon catch rates have been next to 0 on lake Champlain after all some people just like to catch big fish . Lakers can be alot of fun on spoons with no cowbells attached .
