Ok so my trim motor quit but to diagnose I took entire pump out and checked over. Now I have replaced the motor and am ready to install. When I disconnected the lines I noticed the outdrive was lowering (duh) so quickly tied it up to prevent the lines from emptying. My question is do I need to bleed the system some of what I have read says no it will do it its self. Figured I'd ask here. Pic of pump unit (off google)18-6752_1_5.jpg

I did mine on my outboard and it took a while of putting it up and filling it and putting it up and down a few times but it did bleed it self just was a slow process
