Stomach full of gobbies

One walleye had 10 gobbies and a perch I it's stomach. I actually thought it had eaten a rock bass until I cut it open.

Reason I ask is, I took one in Chaumont Sunday whose stomach was practically empty.

A couple week ago ones I caught in Black River Bay were full of Mayfly nymphs.

I am not a fly fisherman, but wouldn't it have been cool to tie up some flies, and fly fish for eyes?

The walleye buffet is open- thank you round Gobies. Fun time of year to fish eyes!

Can you still catch Walleyes casting or is everything done trolling at this point?

If you know where they are located they can be caught on jigs and jigging spoons but you can't cover as much territory as trolling.
