Walleyes/white bass out of sandy pond

I fish Oswego whenever I head to the lake

ive heard from a few guys at wrights, that they fish sandy pond, and get walleyes, and white bass in good numbers outta there, but they are mainly smaller. I was thinking about heading over there to check it out myself. Never fished there before, but I have heard that the launch situation is shot just like many other places. Has anybody ever gotten decent sized white bass and walleye there?
