Downrigger Release for Flea Flicker Line???

I am making my second trip to Lake Ontario on August 21st and remember all the problems we had with the Water Fleas until we spooled with mono. I wanted to be prepared this year so I spooled two of my outfits with Flea Flicker. I understand that some individuals simply use a rubber band. What release do you recommend for use with 30# Flea Flicker line?

Scotty power locks are all I use,no line damage with the FF

We used Blacks with the FF - just remember three to four twists before placing in the release as it is larger diameter (20# 30#).

Agree with Skeiner. Scotty's .- Have to say that I fished out of the Oak yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised with all the more fleas that were present, compared to the last time I was there.

Any of the suggestions would be fine---although I too prefer Blacks releases. However, like Chinnok said, there are very few fleas around now and the are probably done for the year. Its followed that progression the past several years. I'm not sure about the east end of the lake but at the Oak most of us are going back to the standard 20# mono.
